Day trips in Bruton & Castle Cary, UK

Two small towns in South Sommerset worthy of taking small day trips to are Bruton and Castle Cary. Roughly half an hour apart from each other  (and close to my home base for the summer in Wincanton), these quaint towns are full of enjoyable local stops, including bakeries, idyllic fairytale-like architecture, and of course, adorable cows!
