A weekend in Bristol, UK
On an open weekend, two of my friends and I took a trip to the city of Bristol. Being the South West border of North Somerset, accesibility to london, the coast, and many other small towns are easy and fairly affordable.
Home of both street artist Banksy and the invention of bristol board (fun fact for my artist friends), this city has many artistic ventures to explore as well as a livley night life and music scene. With a mix of local shops, eateries, markets, coffee hubs, 'big brand' outlets, and mixture of architectural styles, Bristol felt like a miniature London. In two days and one night (shoutout to the Rock & Bowl Hostel for a lovely stay), we were able to explore the city.
